The Deverto Tequet® is a classless softswitch for next generation
voice networks. The switch supports the most used VoIP protocols: H.323,
SIP, MGCP, PacketCable NCS. The switch can be deployed in networks utilizing
different access networks: CATV HFC, ADSL, Ethernet, Wireless, etc.
Seamless interworking with the PSTN is provided by the support of SS7/ISUP
and DSS1 (ISDN signaling). There is a full interworking between all
supported signaling protocols.
Sophisticated call routing services are provided in order to heighten
service levels and to keep the costs at minimum. In order to serve multiple
applications and private networks at the same time, the switch can be
logically partitioned. In order to provide multiple overlapping dial
plans and complex routing scenarios (e.g. originator dependent routing),
a hierarchy of multiple routing engines can be used. This is accompanied
by a very flexible digit analysis, manipulation and access list capabilities.
Dynamic media proxy functionalities make it possible to traverse IP
network boundaries. A wide scale of access and admission controls provide
for security that is required by a system that is bridging VPNs and
connected to the open Internet. The flexible billing interface makes
it possible to implement pre- and postpaid scenarios.
