2006-08-11: Mikroháló - the combined power Reseller partner module
Mikroháló was the first Hungarian company launching telephone service with the dialing code 21, which enables geographic location-independent phoning.
As an independent supplier, they play a leading role on the telecommunication market by initiating the reseller partner program, meaning they're selling the service not only by themselves, but also through their partners. The service given by any of the partner operators, in the background the data is processed by hIPer™, the billing and customer management system chosen by Mikroháló.
Mikroháló contracted EuroMACC for outsourcing service and follows the one system many provider concept with its partners.
2006-07-12: Actel chose hIPer™The first ADSL service free from telephone subscription in Hungary
Actel Pte Ltd. was established in 2004 to provide data transmission, telephony and multimedia services to residential customers as well as to small and medium enterprises.
The majority owner of the company is CYTA (Cyprus Telecommunications Authority), the leading telecommunications provider of Cyprus, a market leader in conventional and IP-based telecommunications products. CYTA as a strategic investor, is supporting Actel to offer high standard, cutting-edge technology value-added services to customers.
The services provided by Actel have already been launched on its own platforms, which let them be a unique provider of Triple Play services. These are the IP based- broadband network, the multimedia-capable IP telephone switch (softswitch) as well as the platform for delivering IP based digital TV and video content to end users. These platforms will serve as the main components of Actel's complex system.
As for the customer database and the billing information management Actel is using hIPer™, a system developed by EuroMACC. This special application supports the CDR files of the different service platforms. The pricing of the outgoing calls and the invoicing are managed by the Billing Bureau center of EuroMACC.
2006-06-10: hIPer™ implementation at Intellicom
Online System, under the brand name Intellicom was established in 1996 by Hungarian individuals. Their aim was to find a niche on the telecommunication market, primarily in the sectors of tourism and hotel industry. Intellicom is providing high-tech solutions for the corporate sector. The company transmits data through the Internet by using VoIP and carrier pre-selection technology. These are the most efficient and cost effective ways of transmitting phone calls and fax messages. The telecommunication services provided by Intellicom are customized for their clients' needs and the prices differ according to the service type.
Intellicom is using hIPer™, the EuroMACC developed customer service and billing system, which is processing the data provided by British Telecom. The billing background of Intellicom is provided by the Billing Bureau center of EuroMACC. Our customer service system, WebCare™ is giving detailed information on the account data, the calls, the actual monthly balance and of the paid and yet unpaid bills of the customer.
2006-06-05: VON 2006 "See you again next year!"
After last year's success, we decided to visit again one of the IP world's most important conference and exhibition.
In this year, with the experiences gained during last year's attendance, we tried to do our best: we made a bigger stand and organized 3 presentation spots to be able to answer all the questions emerging. Our portfolio, as well as our stand has expanded: we introduced two new products to the public this year - hIPer™, our billing and business management system and WebCare™, the online customer service portal system. We introduced these systems in 65 presentations and due to this, plenty of soft switch providers (Quintum, Nexton, Asterisk, Cantata) chose us to be their strategic partner.
We would like to say thank you for your support and for the feedback you gave, and we hope to see you again on next year's event!
2006-02-03: Prefix service launched by Mikroháló
Mikroháló, with the support of the hIPer™ billing system started operating the first. 21 prefix voice service in Hungary. The company, founded by Hungarian telecom experts, targets customers with broadband access, and offers its voice services independent of geographical location.
The service will be launched as Post-Paid, Pre-Paid packages will be available later this year mostly for private customers. Low minute rates and discounted tariff packages are offered to business subscribers as well.
EuroMACC besides the sales of the hIPer™ billing system, has been providing consultation services for Mikroháló in the areas of system design, deployment, network operation and project management.
2005-07-01: New CPS Provider on the Hungarian voice-market
EuroMACC happily welcomes 3C Hungary amongst its hIPer™ clients.
The successful internet, BT InfoNet and satellite data communication provider previously known as BankNet is to launch its CPS service in the first months of summer 2005, targeting mainly micro- and small size business customers. The new alternative telephony provider will be a strong challenger on the Hungarian communications market with its competitive rates and high quality of service.
The billing background of the operation is provided by EuroMACC's hIPer™ Billing System, high level customer support is offered through the WebCare customer self-care portal. WebCare provides detailed and up-to-date information about subscriber's account and bill data, call details, current balance, paid and unpaid invoices. Thus 3C will be amongst the first Hungarian operators to provide its customers with quick and accurate on-line access to call data and billing information.
Billing and call data processing will be done in EuroMACC's Billing Bureau; bill printing and customer data will be administered by 3C through on-line connection.

Single balance - multiple concurrent endpoints - dynamic
balance handling
EuroMACC's hIPer™ Billing Systems and Deverto Systems recently
announced development has the first interoperability tests completed
successfully.
The unexampled prepaid billing tool handles the Pre-Paid balance dynamically,
when multiple services are simultaneously used by
the customer on the same account . When making multiple
Pre-Paid VoIP calls, or even downloading content and watching Pay
TV at the same time, the balance is consumed by more than one end-points
simultaneously . The prepaid tool resolves the issue
of continuously updating the cumulated usage quota of all end-points.
The solution is planned to be fully integrated into the next release
of hIPer™, and commercially available by the end of Q3 2005.

Single balance - multiple simultaneous endpoints - dynamic
balance handling.
hIPer™ Billing Systems and Deverto Systems launched the development
of their joint solution marked "Multi Thread Pre-paid Usage".
The unexampled prepaid billing tool handles the PrePaid account balance
dynamically, when multiple PrePaid services are simultaneously used
by the customer (eg. making a PrePaid VoIP call, while downloading
a file and watching PayTV), and the same balance is consumed by more
than one consumption end-points at the same time.

2005-04-25: Complete
telecommunication system - in a turn-key setup
Long-term strategic partnership has been signed between EuroMACC
and the softswitch developer Deverto Systems to jointly innovate and
market their products in the communication industry. According to
the agreement the two companies offer a fully integrated telecommunication
system, that includes in a turn-key setup the softswitch, media gateway,
CRM and billing functions. Deverto's Tequet SoftSwitch supports IP-based
connections, SS7 and ISDN signalling, h323, SIP, MGCP, PacketCable
and NCS protcols, VPN, CATVand DSL networks.
EuroMACC's hIPer Billing System maximizes the possibilities given
by the switch by simplifying the customer database management and
supporting complex marketing activities.
The complete setup handles both pre- and postpaid services, and due
to the complete integration and single point of support the launch
of a new voice services is shortened greatly.

2005-03-20: 10,000 VoIP customers at UPC
Hungary
The VoIP service launched by UPC in Hungary in September
2004 has reached 10,000 subscribers in March 2005. The extensive growth
of the service poves, that VoIP on cableTV networks is a real alternative
of telecommunication and increasingly competitive to regular LTO services.
The billing of UPC-s voice service is provided by EuroMACC's hIPer™.
The system has proven to handle this steep increase in subscriber
data dependably, and provides UPC continuously with stable, solid
background to its business processes.

2005-03-09: hIPer™ is billing the Dutch
TECHNOS
TECHNOS B.V., a dynamically expanding Dutch alternative telecommunication
service provider has recently chose hIPer , Euromacc's flexible, scalable
billing system. Having installed it's new soft switch, and applying
Euromacc's integrated business management tool, hIPer™ , Technos
is increasing its competitiveness both on its domestic and international
markets , launching VoIP, and Pre-paid services. According to the
outsourcing agreement, the rating is done at Euromacc's facilities
in Budapest , and the bill image is printed out at Technos's office
in the Netherlands . Technos' plans are to increase its current customer
base of 3000, by 2000 new clients next year.

09.02.2005.: We scud on broadband with EuroWeb
EuroWeb started its NeoPhoneX service, an internet-telephone
based service on SIP, for which EuroMACC's hIPer system provides the
technical support. To start the chat you only need to register and
download the software using broadband internet connection, and with
a headset (earphones and microphone) you are connected to the rest
of the world. Thanks to the sophisticated background-technology NeoPhone
users can both initiate and receive calls. The novelty of the service
is that it's not only available within Hungary: international calls
can be made worldwide also at very competitive rates. Similar low-cost
service of EuroWeb will be shortly available in the neighboring countries
as well.
